when amazon loses the rights to the movie you bought digitally they will literally just . take away your movie
DVDs often have bonus content like behind-the-scenes extras and audio commentaries!
often the title & episode & setup screens have cool art and music!
sometimes inside the case, there's a little booklet about the movie!
you can hold your movie in your hands :)
it looks very cool on your shelf

external disk drive with DVD read/write capabilities
blank DVD+R or DVD-R (DVD-Rs aren't reusable but DVD+Rs can be erased and rewritten)
media to put on the disk
